Youth Engagement Fellowship Coordinator - Constitutional Values

 

Position: Civic Fellow

Location: Nuh, Haryana

Duration: Two Years

Stipend: 15,000 -18000 INR per month


What about Role

We are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our team as a Civic Fellow. In this role, you will work closely with your local community, to solve one problem. Which should align with constitutional values, and help build community leadership. This position is for people who care about empowering youth, promoting social justice, and driving real change, real impact in communities. You'll have the chance to grow as a leader by gaining hands-on experience and getting involved in grassroots socialism.

As a Fellow, you’ll be actively involved in developing and running programs that spread constitutional values, while also receiving training and guidance to help you become a changemaker in your community.

Key Responsibility

1.     Community engagement and outreach:

·       Connect with the local leaders, sarpanch, Anganwadi, school, Primary Health Centre, self help groups in the community to identify one of the key issue/problem/opportunity to improve.

·       Work along with stakeholders like community leader, SHGs group and Panchayat members to understand the unique challenges of the community.

·       Work closely with them to draft long term solutions.

2.     Learning and Development :

·       Engage in the workshop, training sessions and discussions that explore contemporary social issues, including gender quality, caste discrimination, governance and human rights 

·       Learn to adapt and apply constitutional values in addressing local community challenges

·       Assist in facilitating learning sessions on social issues leadership, and skills such as communication , organisation and advocacy

3.     Facilitate Community Action

·       Support local groups in identifying local issues and developing action Plans to bring about change in their communities.

·       Work closely with the local leaders, and stakeholder of you idea to implement community – drive projects that promote inclusivity , justice and equity

4.     Document and reflect

·       Keep track of the personal and program through regular reflection and feedback sessions

 

Who We Are Looking For:

·       Recent graduates with a strong academic background

·       Passionate about social change in the community

·       Excellent communication , collaboration and problem solving skills

·       Strong work ethics, self motivation, and a commitment continues learning

·       Fluency in local language (specify languages if relevant)
